Hospitality Blog: Post Three

Today's date is the 16th of March, 2011.

These past couple of weeks we have cooked two recipes, Baked Tortellini with Vegetables and Pizza Strudel.

The Baked Tortellini was delicious. It involved a fair amount of preparation of the vegetables and careful watching while it was baking. I encountered a problem while carrying it, when the fat from the cheese spilled out and went all over my shirt and books, which caused a fair amount of cleaning up.

The pizza strudel was fairly easy to make, other than shredding the chicken because there was a lot of fat and bone in the pieces that we were given, which left us with not a lot of meat to shred. Also, when we put the strudels in the oven, it did not cook properly because our oven was not working as well as some of the other ovens. Due to this, we had to move our strudels to another oven so that they could cook.

Overall, these recipes were easy and quite fast to make, which makes them something that I would cook again.
